Clear Communication in Cultural Institutions: Researching and Designing a Writing Rubric to Increase Inclusion, Accessibility, and Engagement
The research I engaged for this thesis was two part. First, I used career knowledge and my emerging understanding of museums and other cultural institutions to create a list of focus areas that the rubric could assess. I engaged in a qualitative exploration of these goals, researching across disciplines to guide best practices, and recruited testers to gather feedback on potential use cases and the rubric’s efficacy in those cases.
